The Postgraduation Program in Anthropology invites everyone to participate in the lecture entitled "Resonances of the Earth: listening and territorialities facing the contradictions of development in the Amazon", which will be delivered by Maria Fantinato Geo de Siqueira Ph.D. student in Ethnomusicology at the University of Columbia, NY / USA.

Maria Fantinato Geo de Siqueira is Master in Communication and Culture by ECO/UFRJ, where she developed ethnographic research with experimental bands from Rio de Janeiro and investigated the relationship between musical improvisation, aesthetics, and communication. She holds a degree in Social Communication with a degree in Advertising and Publicity from the same institution. She was a PIBIC scholar between 2006 and 2007, integrating the research projects "Media risk and suffering" and "The discourse of risk in the media". Between 2007 and 2008, she carried out an undergraduate exchange program at the University of Paris 8, in France. Between April 2011 and April 2013 she joined the editorial team of ECO-Pós Magazine. She is interested in the following themes and their intersections: communication theory, aesthetics, and politics, music, ethnography.
