The city of Cleveland, USA, two major bioanthropology events in the world. The 44th Congress of the Association of Human Biology (HBA) (https://www.humbio.org/) and the 88th Meeting of the American Association of Physical Anthropologists (AAPA) (http://physanth.org/annual-meetings/88th -annual-meeting-2019).
This year a bioanthropology participates with a record number of accepted papers, are three times selected to participate in the HBA congress and six to the AAPA meeting within a special session on Bioanthropology in Brazil. The work involved students, postdoctoral students and teachers from PPGA and other institutions in Brazil and the USA, and demonstrated a wide range of research on the medium of the concentration area in bioengineering of the PPGA. This is the largest number of papers published by a group of Brazilian bioanthropologists in the history of both congresses.
